Rare animals found in baggage at Bengaluru airport 4 arrested

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials found 18 non-indigenous animals in the checked-in baggage of three passengers arriving from Bangkok at Bengaluru airport. Following an interrogation, officials raided a farmhouse on the city's outskirts and recovered another 139 animals of 48 rare species, including yellow and green anacondas, ball pythons, iguanas, etc. Four people were arrested.
