Earth witnessed its secondwarmest March in 2023

March 2023 was the second-warmest March ever on Earth, the EU's climate monitoring agency has said. Antarctic Sea ice extent was also the second-lowest for the month of March since the data recording started, said a Copernicus Climate Change Service report. The ice extent in the Antarctic was 28% below average and that in the Arctic was 4% below average.
