US EV maker Lordstown Motors files for bankruptcy sues Foxconn

US EV maker Lordstown Motors on Tuesday filed for bankruptcy and put itself up for sale. Simultaneously, it sued Taiwanese electronics company Foxconn. Lordstown has accused Foxconn of fraudulent conduct for failing to abide by an agreement to invest up to $170 million in the American company. Lordstown breached the investment agreement when its stock fell below $1/share, Foxconn claimed.
