Applied Materials to invest 400 mn to build new centre in India

Applied Materials has announced it'd invest $400 million over four years to build an engineering centre in Bengaluru. The centre is expected to create at least 500 new advanced engineering jobs within its first five years of operation, the company said. The announcement came after PM Narendra Modi's meeting with Applied Materials CEO Gary E Dickerson in the US.
