The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, which is going the sanctuary's development gave an assertion last week referencing that white marbles from the Makrana slopes of Rajasthan would be utilized in the sanctum sanctorum of the sanctuary.
The Ram sanctuary trust said the absolute stone volume to be utilized for the sanctuary project included eight to nine lakh cubic feet of cut sandstone, 6.37 lakh cubic feet of uncarved rock, 4.70 lakh cubic feet of cut pink sandstone for the sanctuary, and 13,300 cubic feet of Makrana white cut marble for the sanctum sanctorum.
Prior in August 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gone to the establishment stone laying service or 'bhoomi pujan' for the sanctuary after which its development had begun.
The sanctuary is supposed to be prepared not long before the 2024 general decisions.
