India39s first cervical cancer vaccine to hit markets this month

India's first cervical cancer vaccine 'CERVAVAC' by the Serum Institute of India will be available in the private market starting this month. CERVAVAC is India's first indigenously developed quadrivalent human papillomavirus (qHPV) vaccine. Each vial of the vaccine will be priced at ₹2,000 and two doses of it could be administered using one vial.
