Govt to release 500cr subsidy to Ola Ather TVS amp Hero Report

The government has decided to release over ₹500 crore of subsidy under FAME II scheme to Ola Electric, Ather, TVS and Hero MotoCorp after they agreed to reimburse consumers for chargers, TOI reported. The government had halted the subsidies after these firms billed their customers separately for the e-scooters and the chargers to bring the cost down to avail subsidy.
